Common Commands for Puppy Play
- Sit – give the command and push down on your pups ass till it is on the floor or squatting on her ankles
- Stay – give the command when you want them to remain in one place and not move.
- Wait – similar to the command Stay, used when the pup is to remain in the immediate area and not to follow her Master
- Down – moves the pup to a prone position on the ground
- Come – calls the pup to your feet were they assume a sitting position
- Heel – calls the puppy to a position to the left and slightly to the rear of their Master
- Show – the pet assumes a position on all fours, her toes or knees spread slightly wider than their thighs, head up, eyes forward and with their parts exposed for use
- Off – a command used when you want them to move off of furniture or off of you
- Settle – used to calm down an excited puppy
- No – self explanatory
- Speak – when you want your pup to bark
- Fetch
- Beg
- Play
