This month at The English Mansion we’re featuring human pets, especially puppies and doggies – though there are also kittens, ponies and piggies. Role playing an animal can have a huge appeal, animals don’t speak or think or even walk upright, they are owned, trained but also loved and even pampered. You can let go of your humanity and immerse yourself in a new alien mindset. There are here obvious parallels to slavery within animal play, most notably the collar and leash and the desire to be owned.
The psychology of human animal role-play generally falls into two categories: those who love immersing themselves into the role of a human animal and who relish being dressed up and trained to become the best they can be (Pampered Pets); and those who are turned into animals by their cruel Mistresses as a means to totally humiliated and literally dehumanise them (Dehumanised Animals). These examples show two opposing aspects of the psychology however there is much cross-over and most of the actualities of the play is the same.
Pampered Pets
Firstly there are those who love to immerse themselves in the role of a human animal most usually a dog or puppy. What appeals to them and their play ‘owners’ is the innate characteristics of the animals’ nature that come into play, these being: obedience; loyalty and devotion to their owners, total reliance on their owner, instinctively wanting to please and the need to be trained.
Dehumanised Animals
This is where usually a useless, old or disobedient slave is turned by his Mistress into a dog to totally break and humiliate him. It’s the end of the line for him he is no longer a lowly slave below even that not even human any more. He will not longer be able to talk or walk upright. If necessary he can be kept gagged and put in hobble chains (chains that are not long enough for you to stand in). He will eat her scraps from a bowl (mittens can be used to stop him using his hands). This is an ultimate punishment and humiliation for an unwilling slave to not even be treated as human anymore.
There is also ‘dressing the part’ – doggie hoods, (bondage) paw mittens, (inserted) tails for ex., all which act to transform you into something new and thus leaving what you were behind. Well behaved human pups can also be quite pampered by adoring dom owners and shown off in public. I was once quite jealous when I saw an amazing well trained human Dalmatian puppy walking around Erotica one year.
